Using a evaluation copy of an operating system is not always the best advised thing, but lately Windows 10 has had some great milestone releases to Windows 10 in the Insider program, however as of the last few releases, there has been a serious incompatibility with MapleStory that prevents gameplay.
Versions affected: Windows 10 Insider Build 15002 and 15007(current) from the Fast Ring.
Problem description: When attempting to use the Mouse during the FMV sequences or the Server location selection screen, Windows 10 will disrupt the mouse grab feature that allows MapleStory to control the pointer cursor internally, and any clicks from any buttons on the mouse will drop the user back to the desktop.
Workarounds: None so far. Unfortunately the last working build is 14986 from the Slow Ring released around Christmas, so you will have to rollback to this release to restore gameplay functionality.
The problem has already been reported to the GMs via the ticketing system, however the status of it is only known to them, but as far as any time table for a fix, this is unknown.
