Hey, I've read your posts before and for some reason which I know and won't mention, you're always, but always against good things and ideas for the maple players like me...

Also I believe a few people has already answered AKradian.... so please if you disagree, you don't really have to bother people and spam, we understand that you're against this amazing idea.

The amount of upsides that can come up along once all paid servers are merged... I'll finally be able to find some active friends instead of AFK friends who never talks...
and I'll finally be able to buy some decent amount of maple points for a fair price instead of paying 100mil mesos for 200 maple points...

I say merge all paid servers as soon as possible, so we can make all of us (90% of us for sure) happy again...

So you want to force everyone to deal with bera's bot problem? And the lag during 1.5x/2x event periods? You want everyone stuffed into 20 channels? 30? 40? It won't be enough. Merging everything into a single server doesn't account for seasonal influxes of players. A single server would be nigh unplayable during the summer and winter updates.

But none of this matters to you, because you don't think of anything but "I wish I didn't miss my chance to move to bera too" or "I wish elysium/aurora wasn't so dead".

I seem to have been right. Guess I'll take my leave of this thread then and let it ultimately sink down into the depths where every single "merge everything into one server" suggestion has gone.

Of course you're leaving, because deep down you know you're wrong, and yet, all of us in here are right.

A lot of people from Elysium are saying they have lag issues and some cann't even log into their server, I've been in Elysium before, it's a ghost town, so how come it's laggy?

Conclusion: we do not lag because of overpopulation but because the servers are just not that good, to say the least...

10 years ago Bera had much more people than it has now, right? didn't we have ksers back then too? yes we did, do we have ksers now too? yes.

What I'm trying to say is, don't look at it as numbers but as percents... say we have 5% ksers in Bera right now, and 10k players (just for example)
Now say we merge all paid servers and Bera will have 20k players, in that case we'll have more 5% ksers, so 10% in total but population would be 20k players so basically you won't really feel any change because, yes, we'll have a bit more ksers and such but population itself is growing too so you won't feel it at all,also the economy will be growing as well... so many amazing things will happen, every single player who understand this simple math will be very happy about it, also people that don't have a lot of mesos can finally buy equips and such because prices should drop, there are just way too many upsides when you merge all paid servers... I think it's really sad there are actually few people out there that just don't understand this.

And yet, there are still a very very few people who even dare to "fight us" and demand not to merge worlds.... what a shame... the entire majority has to suffer only because a very few people like to "train alone" without anyone bothering them... give me a break, MapleStory is an MMPORG game, which means it MUST have people and a LOT of them! according to Wiki, MapleStory is a free-to-play, 2D, side-scrolling massively multiplayer online role-playing game
People can't just say that "it doesn't require a lot of people", I mean, like what in the world? do you even hear yourself? this is an MMPORG, and NOT a SG (Solo Game), and I'm NOT talking about those facts that you can now do bosses alone, forget about it, the only reason Nexon let that happen is because the game has LOST a lot of players but in any case MapleStory is a Massively Multiplayer, thus we MUST have as MANY people as possible, thus we MUST merge as many worlds as possible.

Okay yea I see what you mean. I guess the reason why I said 2 worlds is because there are so many botters and hackers in Bera but if Nexon got rid of them, the training spots and the population overall will decrease by a lot.

Why does it bother you so much if a few people who would rather play in a low-population world, get to do so?

Of course it doesn't bother me, it none of my business what people wish for.
But we must keep in mind that a server with just a few people, isn't really worth the $
This is why, for example, in a normal country (and not a 3rd world one), there's only 1 president.

A lot of people disliked Trump and yet he won, and there is nothing to be done about that! why? because the majority determined that Trump will be the president.

Again, that was just an example, so don't try to catch me with my own words, lol.

But in any case, here in GMS, the majority who wants 2 worlds (Bera and Reboot) isn't 51% or 60%, it's (and I can bet on 1,000USD) that's 80% (and probably more than that) for sure, no doubts!

But than again, if there's like, let's say 5% in GMS that want to be in an empty world, no problem, but there are so many people, literally a LOT of people who really tired of being in an empty worlds, like me, I'm in Scania, and everytime I log on I truly feels as if I log on for nothing... I can't even find people to talk with.... and even when I do find like 1-2 people, they're 24/7 afk....

Also it seems like you're a little bit against this whole idea of having 2 worlds (Bera and Reboot), am I right? how so?

I am against the idea of having 2 worlds because I am one of those 3% or 20% or whatever number you'll make up next, who like peace and quiet.
I don't know why you insist on forcing me into your idea of a perfect world.
As for Nexon's $, let them worry about that, not you.

I'm all for letting the people who want to be in a bustling, active, heavily populated world, to live in such a world.
Which is why I think we need one big non-Reboot world, and one small one. And to figure out a way to let people be in the world they prefer, even if they are currently on hiatus and come back next Christmas or something.

Bera - those who want a Super Big World, let them join Bera!

Scania (for example) - the dead server with barely 5% of the population of GMS, who wants dead server, dead maps, dead places, etc.

Yes, that actually sounds like a good idea.

And again, as you said, we must let people choose, if people want dead world, let them be there (they'd probably regret later just like many other people who decided to stay in Galicia instead of moving to Bera cus they want free training maps, etc, but after everyone ditched Galicia, and they stayed and than the event was over, they started to cry a river....)

But than again, you can't just lock us (97% of population) who wanna go to Bera, to the Big World! and keep us here in Scania, with you, the ones who like this dead world, this is completely unfair and should be fixed as fast as possible and not in the next 1-2 years.

Last thing.
Do whatever you want, stay in dead server or go to the Big World (Bera), but we must keep in mind that nature of human being is that he/she wants to be around/with people.

Most of normal people will never agree to be alone (same in real life)

How many people are not getting married? and how many people are getting married? that's right.
Because human being nature tend to love and be sociality with/around people, it's just nature, that's a fact, a law of nature.

So it just make a lot of sense that the overwhelming majority of GMS would rather be with as many people as possible (Bera).

But than of course, there is always the minority who actually love being alone, etc, so as you said, let them be.
