  • Is it worth coming back after 2 years?

I personally always end back at Maplestory no matter how many times/years I spend on break from it, mainly cause of extremely old/strong nostalgic factors.
Like Fuhreak said, the game never "ends" until you decide it to, whether that be your first 250, 250 on all classes, going for complete end game gear (max pots + bstat) so there's always a goal you can aim towards. Compared to two years ago, think the population is still low (comparatively, iirc, it seems a bit less than how it was 2yrs ago), but if you find a group of active ppl, you don't really notice that (imo).
If you're in Scania, feel free to buddy list me (Cygnus277).

  • Stuck in Kinesis Hideout!!

I'm level 109 Kinesis and I did the quest of saving Yuna. Right after the visual novel-ish part I talk to the Mage and all. Then I try leaving the hideout to go to the maple world and I can't go. It just won't work. I don't have the elven blessing, nor do I have a hyper teleport rock. The portal next to the training area says I don't have anything to do there. Every time I talk to Jay he just offers basic equipment and I don't know what to do. If you can help that would be very much appreciated! Please help!! :,)

    Screen shot?
Have you tried using the Maple Content Guide/Mushroom Shrine light bulb notifier/boss queue to tp out?
Could also try contacting Customer Service to have them tp you out.

  • MapleStory Screen shots

Worse yet it lumps all your character's screenshots together.
So if you do a bit of leveling on a legion mule then have fun figuring out which screenshots were your level ups that you actually cared about.
If you uncheck "Auto Mode" it doesn't take pictures at level ups.

Create a new folder and save your screenshot in the new folder I don't know if this helps.
The problem isn't having access to screenshots later, the problem is where the screenshots are taken and stored by default.

There should be an option to adjust the default screenshot folder in-game, if I'm not mistake. Check under the game options (Gear-shaped icon on the bottom-right corner of the screen).
Not sure if it's just for my case, but for me, the only folders you can pick from are the Maplestory folder, desktop, or main C drive.

  • Returning player

Well considering GMS has only had 13 anniversary events, saying 15 years might be a tad of a stretch (unless your counting time you were playing other versions).

To semi-simplify stuff Neospector said, the only quests most people focus on are prerequisites for bosses (such as Lotus, Damien, etc) and dailies (usually for Arcane symbols in the +200 Arcane River maps).

Can't claim it's the best, but I'm on Scania with an active guild if you want to join us here. =L
