should have a Big Spider Familiar for farming which gives 60% drop rate. Data from KMS after this patch shows that the new formula means even these players will recieve less nodes and such. This is the free to play base, not juse those who have drop gear. (I will admit I am one of those).
The KMS drop rate only affects equipment (not coupons and such), and Big Spider familiars don't exist in KMS. It's entirely likely Big Spider won't be affected by the change at all. (less)
Maplestory 2 is a prequel and takes place before the events of Maplestory. That was why I had a big problem calling it "Maplestory 2", since a lot of people had the expectation that it was … (more)going to be a sequel and identical to Maplestory.
Nexon has done this before; Vindictus is the prequel to Mabinogi, and in Korea, Vindictus is known as "Mabinogi Heroes".
Because of the different artists working on the two games I wouldn't try to explicitly pin down the timeline based on Maplestory 2, however Maplestory 2 appears to take place several years prior to Maplestory, while the Black Mage is still sealed (I.E. before Big Bang). (less)

Sometimes questlines are removed after revamps; for example, the Alarm Clock quests no longer exist at all, which is not a bug (it's not even the same Pink M-Forcer, the old one was eaten by a dinosaur), it's just removed content. The quest itself is incredibly outdated at level 38, since Ludibrium monsters are 100+ currently.
If a questline can be started, but not completed, that can possibly be flagged as a bug, but not content that has been removed entirely. (less)
