Personally, I don't agree with Questions, Tips & Tricks being taken away. While sometimes it was used for people who had technical or glitch questions, it was also used for gameplay questions and I used it when I had questions about the game that were not easily searchable on google (a lot of instances I would get outdated information about game mechanics, maps, or drops and it helped to ask an actual player on the forum). Questions about gameplay don't exactly belong in any of the Help & Support categories, and they have a higher chance of being missed in the General Chat. Perhaps a subsection for gameplay questions should be added somewhere, maybe under Game Guides?
Ive had an issue solved in the past after the GM forwarded it to the game team to test, which is always fantastic (it was fixed quicker than I expected too!). However, I definitely have had my fair share of frustrating ticket experiences, and issues that have gone unsolved simply because the GM didn't know that other people are also having the issue, or because they stuck to the canned response instead of looking into it further. Its definitely frustrating, and really doesn't need to happen.
While it may help you during the time to have an actual human on the phone to complain to about the service, the feedback form provided is much better in the long run for actually improving service. It is easier to collect & analyze the information from feedback that is written & submitted in a form online, rather than trying to compile feedback from people calling over the phone (not to mention the online feedback is is actually recorded somewhere. Even though someone on the phone is listening to you in real time, you never know what will actually happen to phone feedback). Definitely submit your complaints through the feedback form - whoever reviews these will be able to better improve customer service if they see the trend of misinformed GMs being reported.
@SadVirgin I like the idea of adding new reward cores to the mix - especially honour cores.
Definitely the harvesting system needs to be fixed, and I think a lot of the reliance on evo lab for materials stemmed from harvesting being tedious and glitchy in the first place anyways. I'd love the harvesting system you suggested where regular attacks are used instead - that would probably get rid of the "cannot harvest yet" issue.
@Arwen that is my issue too. I harvest for months for Juniper Berry seeds to craft the rare potions. I find that using the rakes from imps definitely helps & gives you way more junipers than evo lab would - but I find those are also more susceptible to the "cannot harvest yet" error making it extremely annoying. Having a bonus way to get extra ingredients once in a while within that month or two of collecting, like if evo lab occasionally dropped the harvesting core you need, or how MPE has that harvesting items day, is always nice.
I like this list, especially the key binding for specific familiars - great idea!
I'd also like to see some improvements in the next better maple - I specifically have wishful thoughts about our harvesting system :P
It would be great if the number of hits it takes to harvest a vein/flower was lowered, and if the harvesting lag that prevents you from harvesting was fixed.
Make special harvesting items like wrenches & rakes repairable, or remove the durability on them all together.
I'd also like to see the imp system improved by allowing imps to eat etc. items in stacks & for the imp rewards to be updated to include more useful items for crafting, such as herb & ore sacks and the fatigue drinks.
I would also very much like to see these brought back. Either as extremely rare drops, or even as items that you can purchase with event coins every once in a while in event shops. Just make them obtainable in some way, but rare enough that people can't farm materials for days like they were able to do before (I've been told that this is why they were removed)
