Highly unlikely, due to

1. the game uses Windows ownly resources and would need to be recoded all over again for them to make this possible (which I do not see happening at all with this old game)

2. Mac doesn't have that big of a computer install base compared to PC for them to put in the manpower to recode it

3. as stated above, Mac is not the mass choice of gaming computer in Korea or used in PC Bangs in Korea (also not that widely used in japan either)

4. considering that, in order for you to log into the KMS website, you still have to use some form of IE (because they still have not updated their keyboard protector program to work on any other browser) I seriously do not see them making a port or recoding the game for mac if they can not recode their keyboard protection (their anti-hack, anti-keylog program) to work on more browsers than IE.

if you want to play it on your mac, you will simply have to use bootstrap

well the thought process wan't "we need to make more light heart-ed content" it was "we should break up this dark content (in both the color pallet and subject) with some colorful light heart-ed content because it's been a while" which Chu Chu did, as before chu chu, we had Vanishing journy (Road of Vanishing) and before that we had both heroes of maple and corrupted world tree,which was a tragic story about Demon, Damien and their family, and before that we had Black heaven and Scrapyard, which tackled the death of gleimer and Lotus (Suu), Orchid's (Orca) brother. Chu Chu did break up that continuous darkness in the story but it was by no means to say that they were shifting gears to make the future story more light heart-ed. If their plan was anything like that then they already killed it with Lucid's story and area as the entry after Chu Chu island.

not sure how you guys have not come to the expectation that after a big maintenance (even a long 24h one) there is still probably going to be another unscheduled maintenance

I think you should probably do the ones that are in mirror ToT, the mirror oblivion one is what I did, not sure if it was the best for farming but I did get 500 coins in about 10 days but some of those days were x2

eh, dont really agree, I mean perma ginners are only a thing because of the way maple lets you experience the game a little before choosing a job path with explorers and wasn't an intended class, same for citizen, and cyginners. I think the reward is in the fact that you managed to do it despite it not being intended or supported.

isn't the purpose of "creating" a perma ginner to have a challenge of levling a character that has none of the benefits of a picking a Job, which includes Hyper skills and 5th job skills due to the fact that they do not job advance at all.
