Reboot also has less systems in place leading to overall less damage but bosses are the same power.
Not only this but damage reduction on mobs is also of a stronger effect. Mobs … (more)also have more HP than reg servers.
It's not just a "community made stereotype", Reboot is harder for multiple reasons.
Reboot is still mostly free of pay to win, right now it's only pay to be slightly more lazy, but yes even that should be given the boot as that's a dangerous and slippery slope. (less)
A lot of the suggestions are useless rants/raves related to current on-goings. You could say this falls more into the "feedback" part of this subforum, but I think not.
I think the biggest … (more)problem these forums have in general is that not enough threads are merged. We don't need a million threads on "bring back pot badges" or "add gay marriage".
These topics have been talked to death and there are hundreds of threads for these subjects. The quality of the average thread as far as suggestions go is actually very, very low.
For example: Currently there are 3 threads all on DMT on the first page, with more on this subject if you go to further pages. (less)
I doubt it's against the rules at all. People won't get banned for ksing, it's not worth the report cuz you'll be flooding their reports with bs like this.
Engaging in conduct that is harmful, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, hateful, threatening, abusive, inflammatory, intimidating, discriminatory, violent or encouraging of violence (including self-harm), stalking, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable in Nexon’s sole discretion, including without limitation looting, kill stealing, making sexual comments, or cursing.
It IS against the rules, regardless if you think it's worth reporting or not, it is against the rules.
Show me where it says that it is against the rules?(less)
So I can't say this for sure as I have not experienced DMTs prior to this, but I feel like the entire design of this event was literally aimed to directly blow up the servers. LIKE ANYBODY could have saw this coming, who thought it was a good idea to have:
-Cube sale 30 min before DMT
-DMT only in 1 hour intervals
Like why? Surely you guys know your servers CANNOT handle the large influx of players, so WHY design the event to bottleneck players to such short timespans????
You have a limit on the cube sale anyways so why not just make DMT all day? or even all THREE days corresponding with the cube sale?
Edit: I know you guys may not have 100% control on what to do but can we get at least SOME form of response from the CMs?
They make it one hour segments to push people to spend through a fear of missing out and predatory timegating so they make as much profit as possible from the cubes. Limiting the amount purchased is not only to slow down progression but to incentivize non-Reboot servers to spend more money chasing tier ups within that single hour window. It's specifically created to incite panic buying and the limited sales are to try and mitigate people progressing "faster" than they want them to on Reboot.(less)
Very similar to a limited or special release of physical goods. People in-line or at the store are often left missing out because of huge crowds or complications arising.
There's certainly a reason from Nexon's perspective to do things like this, but I have to agree, seems a bit too greedy and players suffer because of it.
If the cubes on sale are limited anyway, shouldn't the time be increased? Perhaps if Nexon wishes to control the progress made during DMT that much, they could add special "DMT Cubes' that they sell all week, giving people plenty of time to buy their limit and not straining the severs to hell and back.
Nexon gets their controlled progression while more people get the chance to actually use the event.
