My preferred method was Email which was removed from the "use another method" list, removing the 2FA from the account (something that can only be done if you're already logged in) made that the default method 2FA (despite it being turned off).

Set bonus most likely. The reason it's higher is probably because you're getting some boss% from the set bonus of the mech pend and damage/boss% is inflated.
A character can easily cap weekly mission by just doing bosses, no grind is required and it's very easy for even a small number of people to handle this.
Weekly is so passive and free that it's not even worth considering.
