I like the idea of being able to spend meso or time on the ability to buy NX. This is one of the benefits of reg however so I'm not sure Nexon would be sold on this idea.

It provides the same benefit as the 5th job version with two major differences, that being that there is no cooldown, and also that it is affected by buff duration.
Other than that it's basically the exact same skill, same for the other decent skil…
Make sure you're checking the right server as well, a lot of the servers got merged down and if it's been this long you might have opened the wrong one.

Default key to open the guild menu is G, I suggest watching the chat window for megaphone (paid server wide message) chat with guild recruitment messages.
You could also use the guild menu to try to find a guild.
