much on software libraries and technologies exclusive to Windows for it to be run on any other platform, even if Wine or Play on Linux was used. OS X isn't a suitable choice for gaming nowadays anyway.
I believe at this point it's mostly due to anti-cheat. Proton (Steam fork of wine) works pretty well with a lot of games now, however anything with anti-cheat is still out of the question.
However, if you really want to play using your Macbook, I'm pretty sure you could do so by installing Windows aside your pre-existing macOS via Boot Camp. That way you can switch between Windows and macOS whenever you need by restarting your machine. Then you could install MapleStory on the Windows partition of your machine.
I dual boot into Linux/Windows and have no problems running Maplestory, I don't see why they would have any issue with Mac/Windows. (less)
on that. While it is not exactly centered, you can't miss it on the nexon launcher as it is right there. Its also silly that the news/update feeds on the launcher were being completely ignored. The person attempts to launch the game, gets the maintenance message, then ignores the feeds which is just right there, then go on their browser instead.
Be careful with those assumptions. The steam version does none of these things.
No news about maint, no warning that the game is under maint. No maint message on the front page.
Point is, what OP suggests is a good idea. You might call it spoonfeeding, I call it good business practice. (less)
Starting to get this now after playing around with the skill some more.
Using the skill at max duration on enemies that don't die quickly enough stack up hits so fast the game disconnects … (more)you.
I can only assume it thinks you might be cheating/lagging and DCs you in response.
I managed to catch this in action yesterday. https://streamable.com/zizc1(less)
let them work out the kinks with 1080p before asking for 4k? Because from what I've heard, there are a lot of kinks.
1080p users get chat window booted off to a possibly impossible to access space if using external chat window.
Windowed users can't click the lightbulb above character's head sometimes. (Doesn't happen in full screen.)
Videos play in the top left corner of the screen and don't scale to match reso.
Buggy graphics can be seen outside of in-game cutscenes sometimes.
...
Just to name a few. (less)
been played Maplestory for ages. Now, I am gonna create a new character with the burnt bonus.
Any recommendation between Blaster, Cadena and Ark ?
All of three are the most interesting class for me
Thanks in advanced
I think we're supposed to suggest things to the developers here, not to other players. Probably better fit for general chat.
Blaster was fun imo, until I found out I was doing extremely subpair damage because not using the combo system.
Ark is fun and so is Cadena. I'd say Cadena is slightly more challenging than Ark. So either of those over Blaster would be my say-so. (less)
