  • Can we please do something about drop rate?

Are people really arguing that the drop change wasn't a nerf? There's undeniable evidence that it was. Selling prices. I've been monitoring the prices of nodestones in all of the servers for the past few months. After the drop change the prices in every single server increased.

Even from personal experiences it should be easy to tell. Unless I use drop buffs and spider, I never see a nodestone, and even then it's only a couple per hour. Before the change I was able to get a nodestone once or twice doing VJ dailies, now, I've gone weeks without getting one.

So you can say what you like about being able to get 1 node per 15 minutes, but there is no argument that can justify the prices of nodestones increasing in all servers exactly when the drop change hit.

Also, I'm frankly just calling BS on ToxicDude. His arguments have no grounds, and he's playing the entitlement card. At this point he's spouting things for fact when they're clearly wrong.

  • Mercedes Leaf Tornado

    Bug Type: Skill Range

Bug description: Mercedes Leaf Tornado has a smaller vertical attack range in GMS than in KMS. Here's two pictures comparing the two:

    GMS: http://www.southperry.net/maplerange.php?ltx=-250<y=-100&rbx=250&rby=120&size=1366
    KMS: http://www.southperry.net/maplerange.php?ltx=-250<y=-100&rbx=250&rby=280&size=1366

And a video to display how far the attack reaches below:

As you can see, the attack is killing monster on the platform below.

Steps to reproduce: Simply playing a Mercedes in the Global Maplestory server and using Leaf Tornado.

As this issue affects the Mercedes class as a whole, Character and Server info are irrelevant.

  • Disappointing 5th job

well the thing is, nexon wants you to be using all of your skills or most of them, and don't want old skills to become completely useless or overshadowed when new skills are added, which is why comboing is becoming more of a thing with all classes and why boost nodes are a thing, they also didnt want to change bossing or mobbing all too much (as oulined in their outline of how they decided 5th job skills would work)

Honestly, I like the boost node system but it defeated the purpose of 5th job, and hindered the creation of new skills that we could've gotten to replace 4th job. I personally would prefer to get a new attacking/bossing skill than boosting pre-existing skills. Even if for some classes like BaM or Bw it'd just be another line and more damage.

Is anyone else disappointed about the whole 5th job?
It's simply getting a couple hyper skills. Skills do a lot of damage but has >30 sec cooldowns and they're boring. How is it 5th job when your main skill is still 4th job skill?
I'm not asking for completely OP map wipe skills with no cooldown or anything. I would be much happier to have decently more powerful skills that I can use consistently as main skills. Isn't that what job advancement should be about? I was excited for the new 5th job skills, but ended up extremely disappointed at how absolutely nothing changed.
well... thats how 5th job skills work.

That's besides the point. A new job is something that replaces what you're currently using in the prior job. It should add new mechanics, a new main attacking skill or bossing skill.

A new job shouldn't be able to fit into the hyper skill tab.
