I don't think Maple needs to be reverted. It just needs to be balanced more closely. It doesn't even have to be egregious, it could be simple implementations and some number adjustments. For example, in KMS, they've added more Arcane dailies in ChuChu and Lach I believe, which means more variety, so that's good. In all honesty, I feel they should cut back on new content and just revitalize what they have now.
What's funny is CWKPQ wasn't even broken and they tried "fixing" it by removing it. Also updating PQ's seem to be harder than changing a few numbers around. Not like when they balance classes every few months, I'm sure.
Anyways, I'm sure they'll fix remove the pqs when the time is right never.
When I think Maplestory jump quests, I know the most recognized ones are the ones that restrict your movement and have obstacles. It requires patience and skill, which I like, but I think having more jump quests that allow you no restrictions can be implemented too. Things like the grappling hook stage in Chryse PQ, or the appearing/dissapearing platform ascenscion stage with Orchid in the Limina story quest are fun. Not too hard (like maplerunner - I'm all for more skill based gameplay, but that one in particular went overboard. Timed do or die, event only jump quests? Hard pass) or too easy. Something that just feels good doing.
Seriously, can you imagine games like Megaman or Mario having Maple's jump quests? It'd be vexxing. They don't have to experiment with incredible work already done by other game designers. Maple has already taken the basis of those ideas, it wouldn't be bad taking more of the good parts.
If only they'd make more personalized jump quests. Like, have a map that's doable for everyone (can be done with just jumps/flash jumps/teleport) but add in specific platforms that only certain classes can reach.
