If you can't one shot the monster, you are actually losing exp. (Each new area, the difference between the highest level monster between the 2 area usually differ by 20-30%. It usually the lv difference and arcane force that lower your damage)
Weak 5th job skills usually can be fixed with better equipment for damage.
For a cheap investment from using random boost node (you can disassemble them later while losing very very little node shard), use up to 5 slot to boost your main training skill to lv 60.

You can craft it using the smithing profession in the two-handed weapon section using 10 DEX crystal, 8 intermiediate item crystal, 3 intermediate abrasive

Couldn't replicate the bug when I launched the dragon warrent in the other direction 50 times at monster and they all did damage/killed the monster.

But the bug does occur half the time when jumping down from ledge and using draco surge at the exact same time.

Guild revamp broke the workaround
Here a workaround.
Use the guild skill "On My Way" or "I Summon Thee" to unstuck yourself. ("Rise , Minions!" will also work but it get put on cooldown and uses your IGP)
This method was used in the past when Empress Cygnus put you into death lock when she transformed you while you were in a middle of a buffing animation.

It is intended by design by the overlord of KMS as a inconvenience penalty for having a bishop mule in a different but easily accessible map (easy Empress for example).
