The fact that they put the turn-in NPC in that spaghetti room is raw testament to the FACT that they DO NOT CARE about people having extreme FPS lag problems in that room, to the point … (more)that they wind up DCing or just have to pray they can get out in time before getting stuck in lag hell. They know well enough by now that this has been a problem for a long time now, and yet they refuse to fix it or create workarounds for us. They just shove the NPC in that room without consideration of the consequences to the players. The proof is in the pudding, folks. A lot of us can not even participate in the event now.
If they don't end this nonsense soon, I'm hanging up on all of it for good. I really like Maplestory as a game, and I want to see it prosper, and I know it could...but the people at helm within Nexon seem to be completely apathetic to these sort of issues which desperately need their utmost focus and attention. Why else would they do this to us?
P.S. - GET RID OF THE MAPLE WORLD RECORDS SPAM (less)
Eh, too many other good events to worry about, IMO anyways. The records notifier is spammy and distracting, kind of annoying, if you ask me.
Doubt they can stop the hackers or cheaters … (more)completely. Enough people actively reporting the offenders is our best shot, so stay vigilant.. (less)
: "And to be perfectly honest, missing out on a free, untradeable Absolab weapon isn't going to harm most people. You wouldn't use it unless you had enough Absolab set pieces to mitigate
the loss you incur from breaking the CRA set effect."
I believe you're being close-minded to the majority here. 9x% of players are in Reboot, where everything is UNTRADEABLE...and not every one playing there has a full CRA set anyways. I'm sure you roll with the best of the best of them, where having full CRA stuff and 2m+ range is quite commonplace, but as a matter of fact, I know a LOT of people still with lvl 140 gear or worse who are approaching or have surpassed level 200. The Absolab weapon is an absolute godsend of substantial power gain for them, and hey, what about those alternative characters they might be playing to put that sucker on? It IS a big deal to a lot of people. (less)
