Yeah they really need to do something. I was on earlier (4-5 pm) and servers were fine, I come back 20 mins after server reset and oh look ... horrendous lag. It's been this way for weeks now.
I hope they just leave it, the majority of stuff in the shop most people care zip about, it's all about that bis ring. Even with the amount of boxes you can get I don't have a pet so I'll be lucky to even get enough for that ring.

Yes, some bosses do. Horntail drops a 110 ring that's specific only to him, along with a necklace and earrings. Pink bean drops a pocket item (chalice) and a belt I believe that are again only specific to him.
