Howdy, Maplers!
We're nearing that exciting part of the year and there's a lot of new upcoming content that we want to share with everyone. However, with so many Maplers spread around the world and us being located in Southern California, we've kept a large portion of our interactions with Maplers behind the screen. Due to this, we wanted to open up an opportunity that's more personal and memorable to those who can attend.
Come hang out with the MapleStory team, community guest stars, and various talents for this special occasion!
Please see the rules and information of this event below:
- The event will be taking place on: November 17, 2017 (Optional November 18th event as well!)
- The event will take place at: El Segundo, CA
- Participants must be 18 years or over to apply
- The sole responsibility in regards to transportation and arriving at the venue is on each participant (try not to be late!!!)
- Additional information and details of the event schedule will be provided to applicants that are selected
- Applicants that are selected will be added onto our guest list. All individuals who aren't on the guest list, but show an appearance at the venue will be escorted out.

As you've already pointed out, it's difficult for us to show everyone that this issue is indeed top priority. The most we can do at this point is to keep communicating to everyone that the issue is being investigated. Once we have a resolution or a conclusion to this case, we'll be sure to inform everyone of the steps moving forward.
Whoa damn, seems like not everyone is that patient o_O.
But on the other hand, I feel your pain :’(.
I can understand this is a huge problem and not easy to fix, but the fact this issue isn’t even addressed on the homepage, makes me feel anxious.
The way Nexon’s handling this thus far, makes me feel not taken seriously. I bet a lot of players are feeling the same way..
Plus, Nexon doesn’t have a great track record of fixing important bugs.
This proves how crisis communication for problems like these is super important.
Without any concrete information and communication about this issue, players will get mad and angry comments like these are kinda bound to happen...
Hope to hear some updates regarding this issue soon...

Greetings Maplers,
We’d like to address the issues surrounding the World Leap event that are currently ongoing. The two big issues that we’re faced with:
Cases of Maplers who were unable to leap due to an issue with their Friendship Ring.
Maplers who were unable to leap to Bera due to a sudden error stating a population limit had been reached.
Currently, both issues are being investigated and we will keep everyone informed in regards to the results of the investigation.
For those who were unable to leap due to the Friendship Ring issue, there are plans to look into each instance of this case and move legitimate characters to their desired world.
For those who were unable to leap due to the Bera population limit, we apologize for this unforeseen issue and will be working to process the transfer for those who have been investigated.
We ask for your patience as we investigate both cases.
Hopefully I didn't scare you out of this thread because this contest is your chance to dress for the occasion and win a prize for it! Look of the Month makes a return just in time for the scariest month of them all in search of the scariest Mapler of all.
Put your sense of fashion to the test by capturing an outfit fit for this season.

A picture of your character dressed in a Halloween theme outfit! Get creative with items in-game and provide us with a look that goes well with Halloween.
Participants should write a short description of what your character is wearing and what sort of look you're going for.
Make sure to include your IGN and World.

Entries must be submitted within the submission time limit which will run from the time of this post to October 30th, 2017 at 12 PM / Noon (Pacific Time).
Any breach of these rules is grounds for disqualification
All decisions of the judges are final
Players that have been banned in the game are not allowed to win this contest.

Look of the Month winner will receive 35,000 Maple Points
Three (3) Runner Ups will receive 10,000 Maple Points
The winner will have their character spotlighted on the MapleStory Forums for the month following the event.
The winner will be chosen no later than October 31st, 2017 at 11:59:59 PM Pacific Time. The Maple Points prize will be distributed within the coming week after the announcement.
For the month of October we will have 1 primary winner chosen:

It was brought to our attention early in the World Leap event that some Maplers were unable to move to another world due to an error with discarding their Friendship Ring. We have investigated this issue further and ask those who are affected by this to submit a ticket.
Do not be alarmed with the event duration coming to an end. We will be collecting the information of those who are unable to leap, and transfer characters even after the event has concluded. Please note that we will be investigating each account that submits a ticket pertaining to this issue. Accounts that are legitimately experiencing the Friendship Ring issue and in good standing will be able to transfer to a world of their choice from the list of available worlds.

Again, a special shout-out to everyone who entered in this contest. We won't be limiting the designs we submit to only the winners in this thread, in fact, we plan to send our developers every design entered into this contest. You guys all did an awesome job and I hope to see this flow of creativity from each and every one of you for future contests. I say this every time, but don't be discouraged if you didn't win here. You will have many opportunities to show just how badass you are in future contests.
