  • [Update] World Leap Issues

    Hey Zerobeat36, that would be because you're experiencing the Friendship ring issue, right? That time frame is only for those who came across the population error.

    @TimmyGMS, Currently, there are 1,000+ World Leap request issues that were accumulated during the time frame presented. Sadly, this is the best option that is possible to us without the possibility of abuse. If we did extend the time frame, Maplers who experienced neither issue would be able to lie to access another world.

    We want to transfer those who genuinely experienced either of the two issues and not those seeking benefit from the situation. Ultimately, if we did extend the time frame and thousands of more requests were to come in, we could run into trouble investigating all cases and it could take an even longer time to resolve.

  • [Update] World Leap Issues

    We will be processing world transfers for individuals who submitted a ticket from 10/3/2017 to 10/17/2017 if the issue was pertaining to the population limit in Bera. For those who submitted a ticket due to the friendship ring issue, we will be processing these transfers as well after case by case investigations.

    Please note that accounts must be in good standing and that this rule applies to the transfers stated above.
    These transfers will be processed in upcoming maintenances throughout October.

  • Noted Questions from the Weekly Livestream AMA

    Here are a couple questions that I was able to note down from this week's livestream.
    We'll be sure to do more of these types of livestreams in the future!

    Q: Why are certain packages only limited to Reboot? Please make them available to every world!
    A: We've expressed this feedback to our team and we would like to make exclusive Reboot CS items available to non-Reboot servers. It may not be at around the exact same time Reboot gets them, but this means these items will no longer be excluded from regular worlds.

    Q: What happened to pets being able to be made transparent? Can we expect this in the future?
    A: We were just as surprised as everyone when this function wasn't working properly on live, but was without any issues on PTS. We're currently investigating this case and we'll see if we can have it addressed. Ideally, we'd like to see if we can implement the suggestion to separate each transparency slider for maximum customization suited to each individual.

    Q: Reboot EU servers. Is it ever going to happen?
    A: This is being discussed with our game team, but we are requesting to see if it can be done in the future.

    Q: Please bring Bonus Potential onto Reboot!
    A: This is interesting to hear as the main concern was a potential dislike of power creep. However, at the same time this request is understandable as it also adds a layer of progression and potential to tackle more difficult content. We'll continue to discuss this possibility to our teams.

    Q: Reboot Cube package when?
    A: We're trying to see if we can get this to return soon. No dates at the moment though.

    Q: Auto Pet Potion isn't working under certain skills.
    A: We'll be sure to get a full list of skills it doesn't work under and see if we can have the issue resolved.

    Q: Could we have changes to Sweetwater equip drop rates or a Sweetwater shop?
    A: It's difficult to give a concrete answer to this question. However, we are aware that the shop exists in other regions. We'll have to discuss further to see if there are possibilities in us getting this feature.

    Q: Are there any new NX Items being introduced with this upcoming Maplehood Watch Event?
    A: Apologies, but there won't be any new NX items in the event.

    Howdy, Maplers!
    We're nearing that exciting part of the year and there's a lot of new upcoming content that we want to share with everyone. However, with so many Maplers spread around the world and us being located in Southern California, we've kept a large portion of our interactions with Maplers behind the screen. Due to this, we wanted to open up an opportunity that's more personal and memorable to those who can attend.

    Come hang out with the MapleStory team, community guest stars, and various talents for this special occasion!

    - The event will be taking place on: November 17, 2017 (Optional November 18th event as well!)
    - The event will take place at: El Segundo, CA
    - Participants must be 18 years or over to apply
    - The sole responsibility in regards to transportation and arriving at the venue is on each participant (try not to be late!!!)
    - Additional information and details of the event schedule will be provided to applicants that are selected

  • Friendship Ring Issue Preventing World Leap

    Not having a set date for the issue at hand to be resolved is indeed scary and demoralizing, but at the moment, we have no way of knowing for sure when every request will finish being reviewed. For now we will do our best to keep everyone updated.

    For those saying that their ticket has been closed, do not panic. While the ticket may be closed, submitting the ticket with your account information is how our CS team is compiling a list of all those affected.

    Upon submitting a ticket pertaining to the Friendship ring issue, you should be met with a messaging informing you that the process will take some time and requires your patience. If you're seeing a different message, please submit another ticket with information stating that you've experienced an issue leaping to another world due to the friendship ring bug, along with your in-game name and world.
