  • Daylight Saving

UTC is best though. Honestly this is one concept that globalization has right on every level.
Why do time zones even need to exist at all?
Does the sun care if it comes up at 3PM or 6AM? Does your body? (Hint: No, it doesn't.)
Time zones and DST change absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.
As plenty of people have mentioned in the past, the reset time doesn't matter either.
No matter if it changes at Midnight PST or Midnight UTC, you still get a full 24 hours to do whatever.

  • Is it worth playing MS right now?

As Wonderguy said, try the game for yourself. Just don't spend any money on the game until you've given it a fair chance.
I've asked plenty of people to play who drop in 10~50 dollars only to quit a week later.
Play a few characters up to 120 or so, long enough to unlock legion and a few link skills.
Once you've done that you make a better decision for yourself.

I personally think the story alone makes the game worth playing, but only if you care for that kind of thing.
While you could play a single player game with a top of the line story, those don't last as long as an MMO does.
I prefer the extremely slow story model for MapleStory as it allows you to develop better attachment to things.

Make sure to read what Rexaar had to say as well. I would ignore the "nah" and "yeah" posts that didn't give legitimate reasons.
There are plenty of reasons to play or not to play the game. But it's best if they're actually explained to you.

  • 2x Drop Coupon....

While we're at it, can these items be added to reboot's shop?
    It's looking a little empty.

I already said the reason I'm still playing is because I spent a lot of money and I have people online I can socialize with. If even one of these two reasons don't exist, I would quit the game completely.
And I just love "y u play if u dont like it" logic. If u play a game, then it must mean u love it and can only say positive things about it, right? The game has just enough to keep me from quitting completely (although my playtime is down to one tenth of what I used to play). Doesn't mean it's, in any way, a good game that I can't criticize.
Talk to these people outside of the game. Multiple chat programs exist that most gamers use.
As for money, just accept it as gone.
As for negative/positive things about the game... Yes, I have plenty of negative opinions about the game and the way it's managed.
But I don't post about only what I perceive as negative. When the context calls for it, I'll post about it.
The dude literally asked for the state of the game, and I gave him my honest opinion.
Sure. But as the VFM pointed out, this is basically all your posts. Just because one worked in context doesn't mean the others were called for.
You already covered what needed to be said in the first post. The second post was uncalled for.
Don't tell me not to have negative opinion of MS just because YOU enjoy the game. There are plenty of others who don't.
If you have a negative opinion of the game without much positive, don't play it. Simple as that.
If you want the game to improve however, you need to give constructive criticism that isn't just FUD.
Did they start working to improve the state of the game? No, they stayed as incompetent as ever and new waves of players simply left after event ended
Actually they did. Maple Memos where devs are trying to be more transparent with Maplers picked up. They hired about 100 new staff.
They swapped their CMS again in hopes of doing better. They finally brought over the Korean CS. They gave an item to try to stomp out Kishin meta.
Fact is, Nexon actually IS trying to improve GMS.

As for the "Maple needs new players to stay alive" type comment I made, this is true of all MMOs.
They cannot survive without new players to replace any who quit. You seem to be trying to stop any and all new players from joining.

Again, if you don't like the game. Stop. Playing. To continue to play is to continue to torture yourself.
    IE: Stockholm Syndrome.

Honestly just don't play this game. You can pick a completely random game from steam library and it's probably gonna be better than this dump.
    [...]
Just play other games. I guarantee you'll be 1000 times happier that way

Stockholm syndrome. If you truely don't enjoy the game, just quit.
Stop spreading doom and gloom just because YOU don't enjoy the game. There are plenty of others who still do.
And if you DO enjoy the game and want it to improve, stop scaring off new people.
MapleStory rising in popular is the only way Nexon is going to care about GMS.
Eitherway, you are your own worst enemy. Stop that.
