a 30-50 area if there are four different theme dungeons that all scale with the player up to level 60?
I wouldn't mind if one of these instanced maps was converted back to the old formula so that the few people who use party play can still do those levels with friends.
As it stands right now there's a weird gap where you are forced to disband your party for a few levels until you can get back into the normal maps.
Personally I'd like to see two or three options for each level range. I'm fine with Nexon cutting areas if there's an over abundance in these areas.
Either that or they move them around to create more options for a certain level range. Moving content around sounds like a better plan than cutting stuff.
Like how Detective Raven/Fox Valley added an alternative for the future maps. But bringing stuff back just because they can is a hard pass for me. (less)
but you get the idea. Horntail and Pink Bean are pretty tame compared to the crap some of the others pull off. But i do dislike the 1/1 attacks. It's a very cheesy way of trying to kill players. I don't think any of these bosses need a full revamp though. Just some minor changes here and there.
Have to disagree with you. The other bosses CAN setup situations where you are almost sure to die. But they can still be avoided for the most part with skill.
You cannot dodge Horntail/Pink Bean attacks. This is the difference. It is not skill to mash the potion button over and over until the boss dies.
Also who said anything about solo? They'd still be a nightmare even with 6 people due to bad mechanics.
Hard Hilla Cage is also different too. It's preventable with another party member. This isn't about solo bossing. (less)
I Agree with this. It was fine before and you could easily pick which animal you wanted.
I'm sure the change was done to prevent people from accidentally moving when they didn't want to, … (more)but honestly it wasn't that big of an issue.
If they really wanted to fix that they could have put it on Up/Down since it's less likely one of those keys will move you when casting. (less)
said only applies to GMS-exclusive content.
Horntail and Pink Bean are KMS content.
Horntail recently got a death count. I believe that is the developers' only acknowledgement of its rng-dependent design, and they don't intend to revamp it any further in the foreseeable future.
Irrelevant. These bosses still need a redesign and it's still worth mentioning. (less)
100000 accounts banned just from botting/hacking last week alone (Source) its not so much of a wild guess to think some positive numbers in growth is just people hacking it since its an easy thing to do.
Possibly. But if you look at the timeline, the first time Steam breaks past 1k players since Aug 2012 is when reboot gets released.
After reboot comes out numbers are higher on average. Next December, numbers increase yet again. No only this, but the following month also breaks into 1k.
2017 finally sees a few more months break into 1k. December still remaining the most popular month.
2018 has July/June steal December's spot light while also giving April a chance to shine.
2019 gives us the black mage event which results in three months of player numbers over 1k.
People aren't quitting. More people are playing. Even if there is an increase in bots, they still represent players interested in the game.
As far as Steam is concerned, the game is only becoming more popular.
Now @Nexon, let's see those Nexon Launcher numbers... (less)
