Doing dailies on a single character and getting the full reward of symbols on every other character that's cleared the area's questline doesn't sound like quality of life so much as "I'm too lazy to do dailies".
If nexon can set up a drop rate limit that only people higher than that drop rate can get drops from mobs, i think 99% botters will be killed.
1. Limit? You mean requirement.
2. Players starting out don't be able to obtain nodestones, symbols or droplets without paying. What the hell are you thinking?
drop gear doesnt mean paying anyways, u can still get meister cube from either voyage or bossing, bounty hunter
Drop gear is also restricted to legendary-tier potential and meister cubes are nowhere near common enough from commerci, bosses or bounty hunter portals for this to be even remotely feasible. Not only that, but the other factor of "just craft them", because I know you're going to go that route as a gotcha statement, is no different as it requires achieving and maintaining meister-level smithing. The materials for which, if you're unlucky in drops, you'll have to buy from other players, which can get expensive fast.
They've already screwed over players enough for the sake of "fighting the bot infestation", and now you want to make drop gear a mandatory requirement just to get drops in the first place? What the hell are you thinking?!
Why not make Flash Jump and Teleport a node skill for 5th job like they did for the Nova's chain skill? That way mages remain untouched and players decide what is best for them in a case to case basis.
Because the map design of lachelein's clock tower demands a rope lift skill, that's why you get the node as part of that area's quest chain. Flash jump and teleport are not critical-enough skills to warrant this.
It's a simple question, and if this fits better in rants and raves I'll thank a mod in advance for moving it.
I want to know what nexon is prioritizing right now. Because, as of posting, there are tendifferent bug report threads just on the first page regarding players being unable to complete quests. Meanwhile the community team's focus seems to be an arguable non-issue regarding rankings that, when compared to the playerbase at large, only a vocal minority really care about to any extent anymore.
On top of this we have a memo from Dennis that all but outright says "we're thinking about performing maintenance less often" at one point. Is it really a wise choice to "seek to minimize player disruption" by scheduling maintenance periods less frequently when the trade-off seems to be things being impassably broken for longer periods? Not only that, but the issue a week or so back of all the reactors in the game, as well as several bosses and party quests, seemed to have been completely glossed over, while minor aftereffects still remain.
I can't know for certain what's going on over there, but it seems, to me at least, that there's a moderate amount of disorder or disarray occurring right now. Or, if not that, then at least a very noticeable amount of questionable decisions being made. I can't look at the things I've linked and not think "is anyone actually paying attention to this?"
