  • Equippe typo?

Ah, you're referring to Maplestory M. These forums are for the PC game.

Since I don't play the mobile game, I cannot confirm anything. However there should be a "customer service" option in the in-game options, I believe? I would contact them.

  • Level 140+ Equips/Where to Find Them

Pensalir is dropped from normal mobs around your level. They're fairly common, but you can also find a Rune of Treasure and try to collect the equipment bubbles. Utgard weapons (the Pensalir weapons) follow the same rules.

Chaos Root Abyss equips are better (considered best-in-slot), but are level 150. You also have to beat the Chaos Root Abyss bosses (which is unlikely if you don't even have Pensalir), unless you buy them from the Auction House (again, I'd hesitate to say you'd have enough mesos if you don't yet have Pensalir).

Temple of Time follows a questline to proceed to various parts of the temple. Speak to the Temple Keeper and begin the Path to the Past quest, then proceed to complete "The One Who Walks Down Memory Lane" 1-5 (kill 333 of a particular mob in the temple) and the quest Lost Memory. You'll repeat this quest again for the Road of Regrets and the Road to Oblivion (at level 155).

  • How Is Drop Rate From Boss Boxes Determined?

    General rule
Instance loot (Lucid/Will droplet, soul, coins, stuff that only you can see and loot): Based on your own drop rate.
Shared Loot (stuff that everyone can see and steal): Based on the killer drop rate.

Actually if I'm not mistaken, KMS changed the drop rate formula some time ago for the player with the highest drop rate, not the killer's.

  • Increasing Damage and Range

Your damage range is visible in the stats tab. The default key is "S" if you haven't changed it. You should have opened it after every level to distribute your AP.

Your range is located on the right side of the window, at the top, under the "damage" tab.

You can also record your damage directly and perform rudimentary calculations yourself using the Battle Analysis tab. Press the menu button with the three horizontal lines on the bottom-right corner of your screen and select "Battle Statistics". Then click "Start Analysis" to record how much damage you deal, how it's divided among skills, etc.

One level per week/month is highly optimistic and unless you are grinding a lot with EXP multipliers (such as legion coupons, cash shop coupons, Holy Symbol, or others) you will not level up at such a rate. KMS did reduce the EXP needed for level 200-220 in their Black update, and included Storm Growth potions that work on level 200+ characters, however, so it's not impossible.

You can increase your range by upgrading your equipment. This includes obtaining high-level equipment (primarily CRA gear, Gollux gear, and working towards other best-in-slot items), enhancing equips with spell traces (if in non-Reboot) and Star Force, re-rolling Bonus Stats using Flames of Rebirth, and re-rolling potentials using cubes. Zero has a special upgrade system for their weapon as well, which you should have been taught about in the Zero storyline.

You're level 200, so you should be making 5th job advancement and moving into Arcane River. Arcane River has Nodestones, which can increase the power of your skills using boost nodes, and Arcane Symbols, which grant +main stat for your class (unaffected by %stat potentials). This should help increase your range somewhat.

  • Started playing again-what did I miss? Any tips?

You can pick between the Light/Dark story path, yes. I remade my Luminous specifically because of that.

    Zero is not currently available.

Black Heaven unlocks at level 120(?) and Heroes of Maple at level 135(?). FriendStory unlocks at level 100. These adjustments are recent, so I don't remember off the top of my head.
Monad is level 33+, but the difficult spike is really large, so level 100+ or even 200+ might be more recommended for easy (relatively speaking) completion.
