The new years event this year is Wonky the Fairy's Magic Lamp which runs from January 6 at 12:00 PM - January 26 at 11:59 PM UTC. For more information about the event, please refer to the patch notes which can be found here

Stage 12 is possible, however it's luck based. You just gotta keep jumping off the platform in hopes that you don't hit a meteor or that hitting a meteor extends your jump enough to hit the 15 meter mark.
