This is the first time I mentioned former Muslims so don't say 'again'. For the third time I DO recognize that there are peaceful Muslims in the world. You however seem to think there is nothing wrong with Islam. There are plenty of bad Muslims just like there are plenty of bad catholics. The difference is that the terrorists are fundamentalists and they base their actions directly from the Koran.

Because Christianity has reformed and most Christians aside from actual fringe groups like Amish, don't believe those things from the Bible. They 'cherrypick' so to speak. Muslims haven't done that. I'm saying if they want to keep their religion they have to reform like Christianity has otherwise it has no place in our modern society. If you want to debate whether cherry picking the Bible is or isn't the right way to be a Christian that is a separate debate. The point is that Christians have rejected certain things or changed it so that it is acceptable in society. Islam needs to do the same. Then you can go about discussing whether or not that is the right way to practice Islam. Peaceful Muslims are exactly what I said, they are westernized Muslims that have mixed their Islamic belief with western belief. That is fine by me. If they aren't willing to adopt western values they aren't welcome.
