  • Player Memo : A Reply to Nexon, broken system

    -snip-
when Runes got implemented there was perhaps the incentive that you weren't only getting 2x EXP, but also a large burst in spawn rate increase when a rune was consumed. I'm not saying that it can't be resolved in the same fashion.

There actually used to be a rune that did this. Rune of Hordes. It was removed from the game though.
I'd love to see it return.

3- giving us weekly 2x like before.
    4- more stable servers
just provide us with alternatives .
    -snip-
I'm not sure I like the idea of 2x weekly, the lag used to be awful with it. It seems stark contrast to number 4.
Creating a dedicated time for people to play in just bottle necks all people who depend on these things to login at the same time.
The lag it creates kills the server and doesn't exactly provide a "stable" game environment.
I'd much rather see something along the lines of 3x coupons that expire in one week.
This way people can decide when they want to grind.

    "Just provide us with alternatives."
It would be nice to see more instanced maps that are designed for party play.
There used to be one in the Ice Drake rooms, as well as one (still open) in the Stone Colossus Theme dungeon.
These maps are huge and impossible for a player at the correct level to handle alone.

non-reboot servers have another story they are 200% harder than reboot . with only the benefit of having trade system that's all.

There are a few other non-reboot things that you guys get, such as BPot and Scrolls. But yeah, as far as EXP rates go, Reboot has it easy.
I think the developers wanted it to be harder, but the differences between KMS and GMS just ended up making it too easy.
    At least imo.

  • [Feature Suggestion] Party Buff Icons

I'd like to suggest a new feature to the little party HP window thing.
This option, when toggled, would show you which players are currently buffed (or not buffed!) by your skills.

Using a half size (16x16) icon, borrowing an element from the fullsized icon, players can quickly glance at the HP window to check buffs.
This means they no longer have to ask if a player needs a buff or not. This would be extremely handy during bosses.
With the recent testings of 1080p over in KMS, I think the added size of the window wouldn't hurt the screen space economy that much.

Here are some mock ups of what it could look like.
    0FxqWwV.png
This first image is a rough idea of what the smaller icons would look like.
In this example I'm using Bishop, as it has a lot of party buffs to work with.

And here's what the window itself might look like.

Members 1, 2, 5 and 6, are just so you can see icons without numbers.
Members 5 and 6 are not explorers, so the game doesn't show the icon for Epic Adventure.
Member 3 is fully buffed, with Holy Magic Shell and Epic Adventure about to expire, the other skills still have a few minutes left on them.
Member 4 has no buffs. They also have recently been buffed with Holy Magic Shell and Heaven's Door, so they can't be rebuffed by them just yet.

Here's a possible alternative to the horizontal setup.

This system would show you only your active buffs, and not passives or auras, since those activate in a unique way.
Another possible idea (not shown in samples) would be to show if a party member has a bind available or not.

Thanks for reading, let me know what you think!

It's not easy to get to lvl 200 -it takes months . (for current player idk about new ones )
the easy you are talking about is having all to of these together ((hs-2x card-winter buff-frenzy totem- fire starter ) and it's solo training

Level 200 does not take months. You can easily hit level 200 on a completely clean account within a month, casually, without exp coupons.
"Casually" imo is 2-4 hours a day. Which is pretty casual for an MMO, which are massive time sinks.

I should mention I play Reboot, which has increased base EXP. Regular server results may vary.
