  • Add run counter on practice runs+rise entry caps

    Practice runs are nice way to practice those once/day entry bosses like lotus, damien, lucid, will... but there's one quite annoying thing. You can enter 5 times in practice mode but when you reach the cap you notice that by getting a message that you can't go in anymore. on higher lvl bosses that's bit annoying since there's some stuff you use before going in (alchemist potions, monster park potions, att buffs, and some classes have freuds wisdom which takes some time to stack up) and when you notice you can't enter those just go to waste. It would be nice addition to have a counter after the practice mode text (currently it is "enter xxxx [xxxx practice mode]") so make it "enter xxxx [xxxx practice mode] (x/5)".
    Sure you can count the runs but when some runs take 20min+ you can easily miscount the 5th run as 4th. And tbh that cap of 5 is just useless since practice runs doesn't even give anything so if someone wants to practice whole day why can't he do that. Also bosses should have infinite entry cap anyways and just clear count. CRA and hmagn worked well before so why can't hard bosses be like that?

    Pitched boss set is supposed to be hard to get so keep that as it is.
    And just why would someone think it's good idea to add coin reqs on gollux sf, since there's so much finished gollux items around anyways that would only cause huge instability to game.

  • Masteria revamp failed heavily

    So when they revamped masteria and added even 180lvl accessory set it sounded nice enough for starters but then there was disappointment after another.
    Well the phantom forest itself had decent revamp, higher lvl and some revamps on old monsters so they look nice enough and new items craftable (actually only 180lvl ring is really worth doing anything). But the way to craft those things is just ridiculous, BiS items usually should drop from harder end bosses or the items to make them but that crafting system requires coins from daily quests. Oh well as if arcane symbols don't have enough to do every day for 335 days (that's for morass/esfera with just dailies to lvl 20) those dailies definetli add more time spent on daily quests. 3 of those quests aren't that hard just kill 200 mobs and you can try to get rid of the slower ones but those just take several minutes each. The thing is that the coins for items aren't rew from the 3 easier quests they are rew from the elite monster and elite boss quests. Well if there's 4 kinds of elites and it takes like 5 min to spawn one when you need to kill 2 specific elite monsters it's always 25 % chance to get 1 quest done, and since the last elite doesn't affect the next at all it's 10 min deal if you're lucky but if you're unlucky it takes way longer. Then the last quest is about killing specific elite boss and there's 3 of those. Well spawning an elite boss takes usually 1 h and it's only 33% chance of getting the right one. And statistically it's roughly 87% chance of getting the right one from 1st 5 elite bosses you spawn. And that would be 5 h of doing dailies with not even certain clear which is quite much ridiculous.

    Another thing is that when you get the ring (or whatever you are planning to get from that set) you start starforcing it to notice that it requires coins (5*(n+1) where n is the current amount of stars in it). Well if it's supposed to be BiS item to surpass the previous one you'd need some stars on it. Well statistically starforcing to 22* takes 927 tries and it booms 6 times while doing it. Well when you need those coins for each attempt it's almost 10000 coins required (9735 to be exact) and that's one thing where it starts to go heavily in the wrong direction. Dailies give 9 coins/day if you clear them all and elites you clear give up to 5 coins/day, assuming you get 3 elites daily while doing dailies you get 12 coins/day. it's 812 days to get that item which is over 2 years and that's more than enough time for new items that are better to appear in game. And since those dailies are still in 180lvl area the monsters don't really give anything else while doing the dailies on higher lvl chars so you only get that item from over 2 years of work which is just too much.

    My suggestion is that crimsonwood keep pq gets a revamp and the items (or plenty of coins) will be added as drops from the bosses (margana,rellik,hsalf,nagrom and red nirg) so the masteria accessory set items could be somehow acquired in reasonable time. And it used to be quite nice content so why not use it, it would be interesting to fight revamped versions of those bosses and ofc all at once like old times.
    If there's better way to obtain coins the starforce coins aren't that bad actually, otherwise those coin reqs can be removed since they make the items quite much worthless.

  • Aggregated Suggestion List for a Better MapleStory

    potential in badges could be fixed by adding the pot on black mage badge and therefore it would be the BiS for every server as it should be since the boss is currently the hardest one out.
    pt maps i would love to see and some areas seem to have plenty of bigger maps completely suitable for pt grinding.
    Maby add some stat bonuses from monster collection, it's still quite time taking content and ignored by most players.

    decent event but the last 6 secs were just about luck since it's so fast that fps ratio can't keep up.
    and +1 for rankings on events and other things where you can compete. There's not that much to do besides dailies and grinding at higher lvls atm. Ranked events with some decent rewards would be nice.
