  • a hearty Letter to Game publishers-Developers

Such a long post! Very nice!
I don't personally agree with a lot of the changes you suggest, so I won't comment on some of this.

Party quests are a good way to get people to play together, and if they're all pre-200, why limit them at all?
It's incredibly easy for players to hit 200, however it can be annoying setting up a legion.
Being able to create party-quest teams that you can quickly grind up a legion with would be nice.
I'd support a limitless PQ entry.

I think the current EXP bonus system for parties is fine, what is not so fine is map selection for larger parties and runes not sharing or being instanced.
The fact that there is a 100% EXP bonus for several minutes, only available every 15 minutes, for only one player, is a bit anti-party.
If we could get runes to give the whole party the EXP buff portion of the rune (It is a separate buff), I think this would fix the issues with runes.
I think runes are what need to be changed, not party EXP buffs or rates.

  • Maplestory appreciation thread

With the latest Maple Memo from Jungsoo Lee, I feel like this thread needs more posts.

Thank you for all your hard work. The GMS team gets a lot of **** talk about how bad they are.
While it can be fun to poke at Nexon of America, I'm sure the team running it feels awful because we (the players) are constantly blaming them for things they can't control.
Thank you for doing such a good job and keeping this game up for all of us to play.

  • What’s your favorite jobs you like to played as?

Picking one class from each base class, I'd say these are my favorites thus far...

    Magician: Fire/Poison Mage
    Thief: Shadower
    Bowman: Marksman
    Warrior: Mihile
Pirate: Shade (Only for the story)

I'll admit I haven't really played pirates or warriors too much, so I'm sure there's ones I like better.

This isn't about Reboot though, I'm speaking for normal servers.
    That changes things then.
Given that these items take so long to obtain, it is a bit ridiculous that changing a main can be a real hassle sometimes.
I'm more in favor of the quest line being cut down or removed and the ease of attainability increased, however.

it seems like several regulars in the forums are opposed to any new ideas or anything that changes the current state of the game. seems like some of you need to get a life instead of trying to prevent people from giving the devs ideas on how to make the game better.
I told you in the previous thread. You need to learn to defend your ideas.
You can not claim that something is wrong with the game, provide no evidence and refuse to refute evidence provided against you.
You MUST provide an idea, support that idea, and provide evidence which suggests that your change is a good one.
When your idea is challenged, provide some compromise, or provide evidence to suggest their challenge is irrelevant.

In your marksman thread, you suggest that marksman is weak due to not gaining FD in certain circumstances.
You were then provided evidence against this claim, claiming that it was fine.
Rather than adapting to new evidence, you just insult their character, calling them a troll or saying they don't know what they're talking about.

You come across as extremely toxic and elitist. This is not a good way to present your ideas.
You need to adapt your technique to be more respectful of your peers.
If you disagree with a suggestion that someone else makes, you would want them to respect your views on the matter.
