Marriage (and gender) as whole should just be removed from the game. Because all it does is cause this stupid drama.

The forums usually turn into a war zone of players against Nexon whenever a bad memo or patch drops.
On the other hand, people who are happy rarely voice that opinion.
I suggest that Nexon expands upon the "post-game survey" that pops up sometimes when you exit maple.

Instead it would be a survey of questions that are important to Nexon, with a short comment available after questions.
This would allow Nexon to compile data that would be useful to itself without having to slog through hundreds of forum posts, reddit threads, discord servers, etc.
Of course there will be opinions expressed in these locations that the survey will not catch, but most dedicated players will answer a short survey if you place incentive behind it.
Offer players a small reward such as a few EXP coupons or Nodestones/Symbols for completion of the survey.

Use this data to give players more direct ways of giving their opinion on targeted areas that you're already looking to improve.
Of course the six month delay on patches does need to be accounted for, so it really is best if Nexon themselves hold this survey because only they know what they're about to look at in KMS or GMS.

This survey would best be given on the website as an opt-in rather than after closing the game.
Include this survey at the bottom of memos and a month or two after a major patch drops, to give players time to adapt.

Some Sample Questions:

With the latest Memo, we mentioned that we were going to adjust Kanna at some point in the future. Do you think Kanna is under powered, over powered or balanced?

In the latest patch, we revealed more of the Grandis storyline, did you think the story was well writen or too long winded?

We recently announced that we were going to revamp [GMS Specific Thing], what are your biggest concerns on this?
(List of options with a field for comment)

Even if we do not see the results of the survey data, this is still a more direct way of allowing players to voice their opinions and gives you the chance to actually be transparent with us.
Please Nexon, the community is willing to work with you if you just stop belittling us.

Kishin creates a "toxic" meta where players don't want to grind without it.
This places Kanna up on a holy pedestal that Nexon isn't allowed to touch.
No one class should ever be that important in a game with 40+ characters.
Without Kishin the meta gets shifted towards what characters work on what maps and how you can maximize your class.
So long as Kishin exists the entire meta will always revolve around having that ONE CHARACTER in your back pocket.
Remove Kishin and Kanna becomes just like any other character. Allowing Nexon to actually close gaps between classes.
Nexon is free to do with Kanna as they want without having to worry about pissing off 99% of the playerbase.

I actually think an increase of the base spawn rate of mobs, while removing all other forms of spawn increase is the right thing to do.
Even if I personally have no problems with the spawn rate, it's what people want and what they need honestly.
This would keep players happy, KMS can balance individual maps where need be (They're already doing this.)
Increasing the spawn rate is something that I'm sure a lot of Korean players can get behind too.
Nexon can easily control how fast players progress by just changing individual map chains instead of having to nerf the entire progression in the way of Kishin nerfs.

Even if Nexon does nothing except remove Kishin, assuming they survive the fallout, they still get the end result of the game not revolving around one character.
This is why I think if they're going to slowly remove the dependence on Kishin (or replace), it's ultimately a good idea.
So long as GMS isn't killed in the process, we'll have a better game in the end.

Just please Nexon, stop ruining your relationship with your playerbase. We can handle the truth, stop lying and keeping secrets.

Turn on "mini-blade effect" if you want to be able to see. This is exactly why we need (Working) Damage unit skins which trim some of the fat.

I've been using antimicro for over 3 years with maplestory and never had any problems with it.
I've easily ran the game for over 10k hours with antimicro running every hour of the way.
Anecdotal testimonies be damned though.
Just don't do anything stupid with it and I highly doubt Nexon could care less. They know their controller support is awful.
